De Frontera Mercantile Group started in 1993 in El Paso, Texas engaging in international business by supplying the Maquiladora Industry with goods and services.
The services were 3rd. party containments activities, such as sorting and reworking industrial parts. Among the goods sold were security eye goggles and glasses. With direct contacts with the manufacturers of security glasses, De Frontera expanded into sunglasses and reading glasses and began selling to supermarket chain stores, C stores and pharmacies in Mexico.
Having the ability to have these products labeled at the factories in China, De Frontera was able to offer Private Label programs, where customers could receive lines of sunglasses and reading glasses with labels that had specific information needed to facilitate the easy importation into Mexico. These private labels contain all the required data, which includes product description in Spanish, and details about the customer/importer, such as corporate address and RFC.
In 2023, De Frontera Mercantile Group was acquired by Outlander Investments, LLC for the purpose of injecting capital into the business operation, making it possible for consistent expansion.
De Frontera Mercantile Group comenzó en 1993 en El Paso, Texas, dedicándose al comercio internacional al suministrar bienes y servicios a la industria maquiladora.
Los servicios incluían actividades de contención de terceros, como la clasificación y el retrabajo de piezas industriales. Entre los bienes vendidos se encontraban lentes de seguridad y protectores oculares. Con contactos directos con los fabricantes de lentes de seguridad, De Frontera se expandió a lentes de sol y lentes para lectura, y comenzó a vender a cadenas de supermercados, tiendas de conveniencia y farmacias en México.
Teniendo la capacidad de etiquetar estos productos en las fábricas en China, De Frontera pudo ofrecer programas de Marca Privada, donde los clientes podían recibir líneas de lentes de sol y para lectura con etiquetas que contenían la información específica necesaria para facilitar la fácil importación a México. Estas etiquetas privadas contienen todos los datos requeridos, que incluyen la descripción del producto en español y detalles sobre el cliente/importador, como la dirección corporativa y el RFC.
En 2023, De Frontera Mercantile Group fue adquirido por Outlander Investments, LLC con el propósito de inyectar capital en la operación comercial, haciendo posible una expansión constante.
